Thomas "Toby" Lee Jensen

SALEM - Thomas "Toby" Lee Jensen, 90, died Monday, December 30, 2024, at Salem North Healthcare Center. He was born January 19, 1934, in Salem, son of the late Henry J. and Margaret A. (Fults) Jensen.

Thomas was a 1951 graduate of Salem High School. Upon graduation he joined the Army Reserves. He was a postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years. Thomas was a longtime member of the Salem Elks Lodge #305 and First Friends Church.

Survivors include his sons, Todd Jensen and Doug Jensen; sisters, Margie Potts, Joyce Brooks, Nancy Ciotti; brother Larry Jensen, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet L. (Hawkins) Jensen whom he married October 23, 1955; sons, Scott Jenson and Eric Jensen; brothers, Jimmy Jensen, Freddy Jensen, and Gerald Jensen.

Per Thomas' wishes, no services will be held. The burial will be at Woodsdale Cemetery in Hanover Twp.
