William Gary Garlock

SALEM – William Gary Garlock, 76, died Monday, May 2, 2022 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born Sunday, November 11, 1945 in Salem, Ohio, son of the late Otha and Martha (McCartney) Garlock.

William was a member of the Salem Eagles #316.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his wife Joanie (Kniseley) Garlock, whom he married January 29, 1966; a son, William T. (Christine) Garlock of Minerva, OH; a daughter Amy J. (Tom) Hahn of Homeworth, OH; grandchildren, Mason Hahn, Taryn Hahn, Catie (Hahn) Semer, Harlee Garlock, Dylan Garlock, Caleb Garlock and Fallon Garlock.

Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by an infant son Timothy Garlock and son Jim Garlock.

Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Stark Memorial, 1014 E. State St., Salem.
