Our NEWLY REMODELED funeral home offers the comfort in a home-like atmosphere and convenience needed to help families cope with the loss of their loved one. Our off-street parking lots offer plenty of parking, and we offer personnel to valet park your car. Our covered portico and handicap parking spaces near the door offer convenience during any type of weather. Every member of our full-time staff is a caring, experienced professional, well-versed in the traditions of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds, fulfilling our commitment to helping all families before, during and after the funeral in whatever way is needed.
Since we understand that each family we serve has special needs, we have made a wide selections of services before, during and after the funeral available to suit any budget. We want to make the service as individual as the individual, which is why we offer families a chance to personalize the arrangements. Our intention is to help make every service personal, meaningful and truly reflective of the life that has been lived. For example, your service may be personalized by the reading of a favorite poem; memory tables set up to honor the life of your loved one; special personal items brought in; special music played; favorite clothing or hobby items displayed. There is no limit to the personalization that may be done.
We believe in giving back to the community that means so much to us. We are all involved in local charities, organizations, and special community projects, such as Elks-Lodge #305, Salem Rotary, Greenford Ruritan and so many others.

They are invited into membership only after meeting rigorous selection criteria. They are privately owned, meaning that your needs come first. They view their reputation as their most valuable asset. They must demonstrate ongoing high standards based on feedback from the families and individuals they serve
Tribute Videos and Modern Technology
We can produce a personal tribute video that can be played at the service and online. Simply provide us with the photographs you want to include, and we will transform them into a video celebration of your treasured memories played on two large flat screen TVs at the funeral home. DVDs or digital files of the video are also available for NO CHARGE. We also have a modern sound system where we can play any music families want on the spot to personalize the service
Signature Service Offerings
At Stark Memorial we have implemented a few signature service offerings which are unique: When coming to calling hours guests may take a Forget Me Not seed packet in memory of the decease,d which bloom every year in memory of their loved one. Also in memory of a loved one, we partnered with Beaver Creek Candle Company to make us our own candle called "Heaven Sent." This candle burns during calling hours and is given to the family. Bereavement Bears are given to all the little ones that come through the door to help them through this difficult time. Finally we started a Retire the Flag program where we collect worn flags and one flag is cremated with a local veteran, if the family so chooses. We then cut a star off the flag and put it on a certificate and give it to the family in their loved one's memory.
Ordering Flowers
We make it easy for friends and family to send flowers to your home or service to honor your loved one. We have the convenience of ordering directly from the obituary page of our website. You can also use this feature to select the flowers you would like at the service. This is a secure way to choose beautiful arrangements from the privacy and comfort of your home. And we have are on onsite flower shop with John Burkey from Quaker Corner on staff.
Sharing Service Details Through Modern Technology
We reduce the stress of contacting those who need the details of the service for your loved one. We post the dates and times of the service as part of the online memorial on our website. You can then either share the memorial on your Facebook or Twitter page or copy the details from the site into an email or text. Both options give you the peace of mind that you have provided the necessary information to those who need it.
Daily Grief Support Emails
We offer one year of free daily grief support emails to the families we serve. It is important to us that we continue to comfort our families through the difficult days that the first year of grieving can bring.
